Comments: My wife Idella and I, Geordie and Brian, came to Tavistock in 1957. I began my Ministry there in the Evangelical Church, then Zion. Our Craig was born there. I was then 37 years of age and did my studies for the Ministry while I was there. I was ordained in 1961. I was invited to join the Rotary while there, what an honour. Other highlights of my Ministry while at St. Jacobs, I became a Legion Chaplain in Waterloo (39 yrs) and also a visitation Chaplain at Guelph Reformatory; Guelph Reform School and the Regional Jails. My greatest joy was for Idella and I to serve at Tavistock, Listowel and St. Jacobs Churches, still in constant friendship.
