This is a postcard, an RPPC (Real Photo Postcard), of the Tavistock water tower under construction in 1911. It is written by one of the construction workers to his family in Missouri. He says he is seeing quite a bit of the country building these structures, that he’ll be in Niagara Falls later on, and he is the one that is at the top of the tower in the picture.
