The only body of any size near Tavistock is the sewage lagoon. I don't think this is the lagoon in earlier days.
It is a card published by the P E CO of Ottawa, postmarked 1930. Often, publishers would produce postcards with stock images and then add to it the name of the local town where it was being sold.
