We have had the "Greetings from Cassel" postcard in our collection for some time. It is "Published by Stedman Brothers Limited, Brantford and Winnipeg, Canada. Made in Germany." It is a Private Post Card and is postmarked Sept 27, 1912.
The Upper Thames River does run through Cassel but the precise location of where this picture was taken had not been located.
Then recently this second postcard came to light. "Trout Stream near Georgetown" is the inscription. This then is one of those stock generic postcards with the name changed to fit the location it is being sold!
