Operated by Valentine Stock from 1884 to 1917, he is pictured in the doorway. The original frame store was built by John Klein on the southwest corner of Woodstock, Hope and Maria Streets. On the porch, from the left are John Dopp, Fred Jacobs and Dr. Niemeier.
