Samuel was born in 1877. Samuel is the child of Christopher Kruspe and Katherine Bittner.
Married Ada Kathryne Pfeffer on 25 May 1904 in West Valley, New York, USA.
Samuel and his brother Edward had a blacksmith shop in Tavistock which they bought in 1901.

From Newspaper article in 1957: "Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Kruspe had a family of eight boys and two girls, Samuel Kruspe, the second youngest of the family, now 80 years old and living in Kitchener, is the last surviving member of this family. He was born in the stone house in Fullarton, and as a young man learned to be a blacksmith while serving as an apprentice at the Babb blacksmith shop at Carlingford when it was owned by the late William Babb, grandfather of the present owner, Archie Babb. Samuel started up his own blacksmith shop at Tavistock, where he lived until moving to Kitchener."
