Born in Heidelberg, Ontario, in 1924.

Wounded in the Italian Campaign. He was mentioned in dispatches several times.

A member of the Tavistock Memorial Legion # 518.

Died April 16, 1964. Killed in a single car accident on County Road 5, a half mile South of Township Road 6 in Waterloo County.

Survived by his wife and 8 children, his parents and 2 brothers.

A Legion Service was held at the Glendenning Home, Bright, on Saturday, April 18th, 1964 and the Funeral Service was held on Sunday afternoon with burial following in the Chesterfield Cemetery.
