Ca. Pt. J. F. Cawthorpe, M.D., of the R.C.A.M.C, son of Mrs. Jean Cawthorpe, Hensall, and the late Dr. Cawthorpe, has returned to Canada from England and the Conkinent, and after spending a brief leave with his mother, left for Washington , D.C., to take a special course in tropical medicine at the Walter Reed Memorial Hospital in that city as one of the staff chosen to proceed to the Pacific theatre of war.
