Woodstock Street North , just before the turn of the century, progress greatly.
Seen from the left is the Commercial Hotel and Malcolm's Mill. The covered weigh scales burned in 1900 and the bandstand was removed in 1902. To the right if the Romanesque tower of the Arlington Hotel, and the Bauer Hotel. At right are the accumulation of buildings that mark the spot of Tavistock's first log building
