Built in 1897 on the east side of Woodstock Street North by Jacob John Wettlaufer to replace The Progress House. The first meetings of the Men's Club in 1938 and of the Rotary Club in 1948 were held here. It was destroyed by fire Sept 20, 1965. It was later replaced by a one-storey motor hotel.
