Comment: On a return trip from England with a shipload of German prisoners the prisoners mutinied. All conducting staff were issued revolvers and knives. Neil did not have his clothes off for 48 hours, and no sleep. After one crossing to England Neil was in London when the Buzz bombs were coming over from Germany. One went through the windows of a government building and all the stenographers were killed. Neil was assigned to help clean up.
