After the War: Hospital Cook in Montreal; graduated from Waterloo Lutheran Seminary in 1953; First Parish was St. Paul's Lutheran, Normandy, 1953-1960; Second Parish was Trinity Lutheran, Tavistock, 1960-1985; Retired in December 1985

Children - Paul, Peter, Carol, Tim, David, Lori, Claire
Comments: Padre of Tavistock Legion; Convenor of Tavistock Legion Public Speaking Contest; Member of Tavistock Ministerial; avid stamp collector and gardener.
Son Tim noted that his father was the cook on board the ship, as well as the depth charge launcher on the sub chaser in the North Atlantic although his father never spoke of this.
