June 29, 1911 Tavistock Gazette It is the intention to get the supply of water from a couple of very strong springs onthe Feick property,where a reservoir will be built. The water will be brought by gravitation to a large well close to the elevated tank which will be erected on the site of the old livery barn at the corner of Maria and Decew streets.Here will also be erected the pumping house and fire hall and fireball. The power for pumping the water into the tank will be secured from the Milling Co.
