One of a set of postcards with higher numbers written in the stamp box (in this case 355385) dating them to 1924, all of which are from photos in the Lemp collection, and all of which have the logo of the Rumsey company on the back. Canadian publisher Rumsey & Co. from Toronto continued to order postcard printing from C.G. Roeder after WW1.
Looking though a hand lens at the background of the postcard will reveal the mosaic of dots which fool the eye to make it look like one continuous colour when viewed without magnification.
The set of postcards published in 1924 by Rumsey and Co of Toronto includes views of the old arena, the Zimmerman house on Woodstock Street North (this one), a bridge on the Port Dover rail line, and two views of the fountain in the centre of town.
