The Teeswater News: “On August 17, 1919, George K. Brown (d. 1962) purchased the newspaper and ran the paper out a building on the corner of Clinton and James Street East. On August 15, 1929, Brown sold the paper to Vance Statia (d. 1950) who ran the business out of 7 Clinton Street N.”
