Five of the women who ran knitting machines on the main floor of the plant were: back to front, Jessie Lebegut, Mabel Merklinger, Lily Gingerich, Edith Neibergall, and Marie Fuhr.
There are now close to 100 knitting machines in operation, producing 3-400,000 socks a year.
