Mr. J. G. Field, founder of J. G. Field & Co. Ltd., sits at his; desk with a display Of his line of socks being produced at that time. His son, James Vipond Field; sitting on the opposite side, continued on after his father and ran the business until 1953.
J. V. Field recently passed away at the age of 93 years, in the 100th year of the company's existence. The photo was taken either in June 1933 or '34.
