Mrs. Katharine Barber: Katharine was born in 1886. After she and Sam Barber were married in 1917, they lived in Winnipeg. Family homestead in Tavistock, and Toronto before returning Tavistock. For a number of years she was the organist and choir leader at Zion E.U.B. church. There were three children from the marriage. Kathleen worked in the office at the factory during the war, and married. Ruth worked in London and married. Frank worked at the Tavistock Milling Co. and lived with his mother and aunt at the homestead. Katharine passed away in 1958.
