He was married twice his first wife Elizabeth Weicker died in 1912 and in 1914 he married Mary Weicker. According to his obit he had 5 sons Karl, William, John, Rev. Herbert and Walter along with 4 daughters Mary, Frieda, Ottilla, and Deborah. There was Martha born 21 Sept 1903.
