The mill was built around 1900 on the south side of Loveys Street / Oxford Road 8 generally across from what is now the East Zorra - Tavistock Township Office.. Grain was ground and chopped for the local farmers. For a few years flour was made under the brand of Thistle. It operated until 1962 and was torn down in 1974.
